Phelaenopsis is my all time favourite and I did this cake (1 dummy tier) for a beautiful bride who needed to have a white delicate lace inspiration on her wedding cake. I used the orchids as the theme flower of the cake as her mother (who is no more) is originally from Singapore and she needed some accent to be added to the cake from her mum’s originality. She simply said “pls add something to remember my beautiful mum” and she agreed on this flowers as it is commonly named as Singapore Orchid. Hope I have done justice and I loved the beautiful out come of the cake.
