Hi guys… Wanted to share with you my piece for the ‘around the world in sugar’ collaboration

I wanted my piece to be bright and colourful… To be fun, playful yet interesting … Just like the Amazon Rain Forest

For my bottom tier I wanted to use texture and prints from the Amazon
I took my inspiration from the leopard, golden tortoise beetle, emerald tree boa, pink cockatoo, blue Macaw and rain droplets….

For My middle tier I wanted to incorporate one of the most famous animals of the Amazon… The Toucan… And I wanted to give him an edge.. Hence the geometric design hehehehe… I Kept the background plain so he stood out, but made it bright so the colours still flowed
To finish this tier off i took an attempt at the purple passion fruit flower.. i think if anything it just ties the tiers together nicely

For the top tier I took inspiration from the tribes of the Amazon… Keeping it simple yet effective…

And there you have it… My Amazon themed collaboration cake…
