This was a request from one of my boyfriend’s co-workers. He wanted a minion cake for his nephew but not just any minion, he wanted Kevin (the tallest one) and he wanted him standing. I love the minions so I couldn’t say no…. I almost didn’t want to part with him once he was done.

He’s made from 5" round cakes with a 5" hemisphere cake as the top layer. The bottom inch or so is RKT covered in chocolate (second image). His arms and legs are fondant and his goggles and hair are gumpaste.

He stood almost 14" tall and so I was a little worried about taking him on the hr long drive as the roads here are horrible. Thankfully I had him sturdy enough that he survived the trip :-)
