I absolutely loved making this cake, I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, so this was very close to my heart :-).
The cake was carved from a 10 inch chocolate cake filled with milk chocolate ganache.
Everything is edible, the cake is hand decorated to look like a spell book, with stained pages and a distressed leather effect cover, gold hand cut lettering, hand cut gold trim, and hand cut HP letters on the side, it is topped with a hand sculpted and hand painted sugarpaste snitch, presented on a hand scored and aribrushed board to look like an old wooden table top. Of course as it’s a Harry Potter themed cake it wouldn’t have been complete without a hand sculpted sugarpaste wand <3 <3 <3 xx
