When I was researching this tutorial, I kept seeing 1950s adverts with the header “mum you’re marvellous” and I loved that, so had to use it as the title for this one.

It is a dummy cake created for a magazine tutorial for Cake Decoration and Sugarcraft.

I loved making the fake cake top tier so much.

When I finished and took the pics, I realised that the little lady on top looks a little like my wonderful Nan <3
