I played with the theme of Alice in Wonerland for this competition cake which is currently on display at the Food and Wine Expo in JHB South Africa but changed it to Bakers in wonderland.
Everything is made from sugar paste, modeling chocolate and fondant blends or pastillage.
I so enjoyed every moment spent on this piece as I love doing novelty cakes. Itβs in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the South African Cake Decorators Guild and won the first prize and Gold certificate in the Masterclass section.
