We did two cakes for two sisters’ joint Quinceanera & Sweet Sixteen party, both in masquerade theme in colors to match the sisters’ respective dresses.
This is the Quinceanera cake in teal and champagne with gold. The masks are edible, from gumpaste & fondant. Bottom tier is Red velvet cake with amaretto almond filling, and top tier is Dark chocolate with Oreo White chocolate buttercream filling. And this was my first ever Topsy-turvy cake! I enjoyed finally making one, but it IS a lot of work!
