Could this groom’s cake BE more Texas??? I had such fun with this one, as painting Longhorns puts me in my happy place. The double barrel tier features ‘Bevo’ the University of Texas Longhorn, lying in bluebonnets, with a gorgeous Hill Country sunset in the background. The topper is gumpaste & modeling chocolate, the lariat tier is fondant, & the bark on the bottom tier is solid chocolate ganache, all on a board of aged ‘barn wood’.

The double barrel & lariat tiers are all Southern Italian Cream Cake with Toasted Coconut-Pecan cream cheese filling. Bottom tier is dummy inside.
