I decided to represent Alkonost who, according to Russian myths and folklore, is a creature with the body of a kingfisher bird but the head of a beautiful woman. It makes sounds that are amazingly beautiful, and those who hear these sounds forget everything they know and want nothing more ever again.

Alkonost est une créature mythologique slave que l’on trouve plus particulièrement dans les légendes russes. Elle a la tête et le buste d’une très belle femme et le corps d’un oiseau. Elle est un des oiseaux prophétiques du folklore russe.
