These flowers smelt amazing in my house this week

Sweet Avalanche roses and gypsophelia

The flowers don’t touch the cake as there is hidden sheet of clear acetate underneath them and their stems are encased in oasis in dishes
I love getting to play with fresh flowers every now and then

The weather and humidity was truly evil for icing this week despite having satin ice and air con and dehumidifier and extra cmc

The beading mould is by decorate the cake

I got the gorgeous chiffon Wiccan for the top tier many years ago and have hung onto as many metres sealed in sandwich bags as I could as it is too pretty to lose

The cloud of gypsophelia that the cake sits on is a 10" round polystyrene dummy with the stems pushed in

Definitely going to do that again as it was a fab cake stand
