well, this was a cake for a 70th wedding anniversary. It was a almond pound cake with almond s m buttercream and chocolate pearls in it. I tried one of the evil cake genius stencils and I really need more practice with these stencils and the right RI consistency lol. Also, first time trying painting the cakes with pearl luster dust and vodka , and of course, more practice on the way. The flowers were apple blossoms, green Hypericum berries, green hydrangeas, peonies, roses and cosmos. The glass topper was provided by the couple. It was picked up real quick so I did not have time to find a better setting for a more appealing photo :-( oh well! Hope you all enjoy!
