I was so pleased to make this cake for my cousins 40th birthday. She suggested the woodland theme because it fits with their nicknames. My cousin used to be called Owl when she was a child. She calls her girls Bambi and leaf and she said that her husband is the fun-ghi 😂
This is a lemon drizzle cake with lemon curd and buttercream, also one of her favourites. I hope you like this as much as I do!
