Graduation cake for my niece’s & friend’s graduation party. 3 tiers 9", 7", & 5", WASC w/buttercream frosting covered w/MMF. Gumpaste decorations. As a friend of mine put it “both whimsical & serious at the same time”. It’s neither your typical nor traditional graduation cake but it was designed for each tier to tell a story…their story. Top tier decorated w/gumpaste replica of photo props for celebrating & fun. Middle tier represents the HS the girls graduated from and the college they’ll be attending. Also representative of maturing as the mascot for HS was wildcats & the mascot for college is lions. Bottom chalkboard tier represents the girls friendship & journey together from 1st – 12th grade…the schools they attended together, activities they were involved in together, etc.
