Earth Day is an annual event created to celebrate the planet’s environment and raise public awareness about pollution, because we seem to have forgotten what a beautiful gift we have been given in the form of planet Earth. We also seem to have forgotten that this is our home and we need to keep it in order to stay healthy and alive.
Let us return some balance to our planet this Earth Day, so that our planet and all those who inhabit it can coexist in peace.
Acts of Green is a way of celebrating our planet and all who reside here. The over 400 members of UNSA would like to invite you to be part of this amazing experience and make everyday about Earth Day!!
The issues facing our planet are vast and overwhelming but by supporting the National Geographic Society, this years chosen nonprofit, we are giving to an organization that has made a tangible effort to help reverse the damage that has been done and educate future generations.
