This cake is not my design. Customer saw it on the internet and and sent me a picture so i could make it for her 11 year old daughter. I must admit, I was a little surprised when I saw it, because I thought this cake was for a 21 yr. old who wants to be a pilot! LOL!! I guess I’m a bit behind the times. She told me it’s a band. I Googled it and sure enough, it’s a band that was started by two college students in 2009 in Ohio.
The cake is chocolate, chocolate chip with butter cream frosting and fondant on top and decorations. I used a new fondant (Nicole’s Kitchen because I couldn’t find the brand I usually use.) It started getting cracks once it was on the cake. Don’t know why, I’ll just have to make a practice cake to give it another try and see if it happens again.
