Here is my contribution to the Cirque Du Soleil collaboration. I was so happy with this piece except that the camera just could not quite get the yellow to look right it is a little deeper and oranger in person.

I simply fell in love with the colors of my inspiration picture, they were so bright and fun I just knew I wanted it from the beginning. I used many different mediums but the best was the big Yellow billowy tier which was created using Flexique and wafer paper. It was a little tricky to create but I managed to get it exactly like I wanted in the end. I also used Flexique with wafer paper for my bow and ties and the flexique with chocolate for my red ruffles, it worked perfectly.

I tried to capture each piece of their costumes with the top tier being his hat, then her collar, front of her shirt and her billowed sleeves. Really enjoyed creating this one it allowed me to try many new things.
