I had seen this image somewhere and said to myself, I’d like to do a version of this painting on cake. This is what I came up with.
I used several colors of Royal Icing to do the drips, and splatters ( yep splatters- my shop was a bit messy afterwards) I added the couple using a printed sugar sheet but fondant would work a little better to give you more of a raised effect to the image ( next time I’ll do that) the top is royal icing hand piped mesh pattern with large grained sugar & the flowers are silk.
