I am a member of a cake decorating group where we have a birthday cake registry, you can nominate yourself to make a birthday cake for anyone on the reigistry and if your lucky someone will nominate themselves to make you a cake when its your birthday. This is the cake I made for another member of this registry, the lace and roses are her favourite colour.
