I made these cookies (inspired by Montreal Confections) for my three nieces for Easter. They all really enjoy decorating cupcakes and cookies so I thought these were a perfect idea for them. They are sugar cookies that I iced with royal icing and then the girls colored them with my AmeriColor Gourmet Writers. They did a great job! I think this is my new favorite way to decorate cookies :-)
