The bass and the tree stump are made of Rice Krispie Treats covered in modeling chocolate painted with edible petal dusts. The rocks and cattails are gum paste. The base is cakeboards covered in fondant molded and painted to look like water. The name “James” on the front of the cake is made of gum paste, but the fishing line is wire covered in white floral tape. The “Happy Birthday James” sign is made of gum paste.
