This is my first attempt on sugar egg decoration. I wanted it to be different. I tried to do the filigree using edible lace, but it did not survive the humid weather in Sydney, therefore I used pastillage instead. I painted peonies and bamboos in the inside of the egg. I also placed some small peonies and leaves inside the egg. The Japanese girl held a tiny blue butterfly on her right hand.
