We were so honored to be included in the A Sweet Farewell to Downton Abbey sugar art collaboration! Such a wonderful and beloved show, and so sad to see it come to an end. We chose to represent Mary’s beautiful dress from S2 E3 in cake, and are quite pleased with the results. The bottom tier was airbrushed a lavendar sheen, and adorned with stripes, to match the sleeves of the dress. The middle tier was covered in black pearls and chains, to emulate the necklace she wore. And the top tier was adorned with black lace to match the beautiful lace covering the dress.
