This was my entry for That Takes the Cake Sugar Art Show in Austin Texas. I placed first in my category and also got best in division! WooHoo!! My isomalt stained glass windows were the trickiest thing. I made a framework with gum paste and poured the isomalt into the spaces. The knights are sculpted out of modeling chocolate, the crowns are gum paste with isomalt gems. I am so pleased to have placed in my first live cake competition!!
