Absolutely delighted to find that these cross-stitch cupcakes that I made for my Mum-in-Law a few years ago have made it into this week’s showcase on Cake Geek Magazine! The theme of the week’s showcase is Sewing, Knitting and Crafting Cakes.

It seems particularly apt to revisit these cupcakes with Mothering Sunday in the UK falling next weekend.

it always makes me laugh that, quite often, the cakes that generate the best reaction are those that I rustled up in a hurry without much planning!! Perhaps there’s a lesson for me there?!
