This is a cake I made for the Aussies Take The Cake Collaboration in 2015.
It is based on the original, iconic artwork “The Beer Tree” by Reg Mombassa, who is a founding member of the band Mental as Anything and also well known for his artwork for surfwear brand Mambo.

The toppers on the cake are hand sculptured and the entire cake was hand painted.
