This is a cake I made for my birthday a year ago. I have always loved creating mosaics with tiles, so I decided to give it a try on a cake. The cake is hand painted with the mosaic koi made from fondant. The lotus flower is made from wafer paper that I brushed with petal dust. The little fondant geisha figurine was inspired by Makememycake’s geisha cake.
