With their sumptuous fabrics, oh-so-pretty lace, jewel-like colours {and sheer opulence!} I would love, one day, to wear a dress made by Joanne Fleming Design. Cue fancy night out. Vow renewal? For now though, here’s my latest wedding cake design, “Evelyn”, inspired by two of Joanne’s exquisite 1920s flapper-style creations {see final photo}, iced in one of this year’s bridal Pantone colours, Rose Quartz, and decorated with sugar tree peony, cornflowers {took aaaages}, gilded lace brush embroidery and sugar feathers.
