I made this piece as part of the global collaboration supporting World AIDS Day on the 1st December. The fallen leaves represents those lost, but the symbolism of the tree represents new hope and the growth of medicines to battle this disease so that it is not passed from mother to child.
The leaves are made from wafer paper and I attached ver 1,000 onto the tree. The tree itself is made from modelling chocolate and airbrushed brown.
