This cake was for a friend’s daughter and I was so poorly the week before that I contemplated on buying a plastic Ariel to put on it. However I couldn’t find one the right size in the shops near by and I am glad as I liked the way she turned out. I would have liked to do more detail on the ocean but I was just too poorly.
It was a three tiered cake, stacked and carved and then I covered in a single piece of white fondant and airbrushed it with multiple colours and even with a bit of silver.
