My contribution to the Santa’s Passport collaboration was Sviatyij Mykolai (Saint Nicholas) in the Ukraine, who brings gifts to children in Dec. dressed in his bishops robes. It’s not uncommon for him to leave a willow branch under the child’s pillow as a warning to be on their best behavior. He is often accompanied by angels and sometimes an angel and a devil.

My piece consists of three separate cookies combined to create depth.
Hand painted on glaze. Many details were piped in glaze then hand painted. I was inspired by vintage postcards.
