Cute cake made to match the birthday party theme of my client’s daughter. They didn’t want it overly Christmasy so that the birthday still was the spotlight. So I carved a mountain from chocolate cake—-top tier is filled with chocolate chip cookie dough & the bottom with chocolate silk buttercream. The snow is created with buttercream on fondant, sprinkled with sugar pearls & sugar glitter, chilled & then placed on the cake in one piece.

We made sledding, skiing, & snowboarding snowmen, plus one that face-planted at the bottom of the hill & lost his nose, & another making a snow angel. Santa himself apparently visited the party & had a piece of my cake! He loved it! Better than cookies! LOL!
