I made this cake for my daughter Hattie’s 6th birthday. The pillow is cake and the palace pet is made using rice crispy treats, covered with fondant. It was my first time making something out of rice crispy treats on such a large scale and I did have my doubts half way through as to whether it would actually work out, but it kind of looks like a palace pet. However, I’m told by the birthday girl herself, that the head is too big. No pleasing some people. Next year she can have a store cake ha-ha. Hope you like it.
