I created this piece as a statement on the need for better access to antiretroviral medication for HIV and AIDS patients. The man is carved from a basic cake structure, and then built out with home made modelling chocolate and rice krispie treats. The whole cake was then covered with satin ice fondant in (ivory) and covered completely in candy pills (to represent the much needed medicine).

I was thrilled to be part of this amazing fundraising collaborative effort- so much so that I assisted Zawadi by creating the first anual issue of UNSA magazine.
