Sequins Love!
Right from the beginning I guess it’s the most time consuming cake I have made so far still I soooo Loved making this Engagement Cake… To begin with I could not find readymade edible sequins so had to make them at home … Before you call me crazy  I didn’t made them in one day, I just made thoda thoda in couple of days…Initially it was an insane thought arranging sequins in a pattern one by one but trust me arranging sequins on this cake was such a nostaligic feeling which brought back so many childhood memories, that I didn’t even realized that it took me 5 & half hours to finish both tiers…. I was so lost in my thoughts remembering all those things when I was really young…. I remember my mother & aunts used to embroider their sarees with sequins at home only, during summer afternoons, it was kind of ritual for them to sit together gossiping while doing embriodry or crochet ….and how my mother used to give me a small napkin and some sequins & silk threads to keep me busy so that I don’t disturb them or listen to their gossip! :P :D
