I was really excited when I was asked to make this cake. My remit was to design and make a cake which encompassed Cora’s love of ballet, theatre and especially phantom of the opera.

The cake is an 8 inch madeira cake, I hand decorated and airbrushed the board and top of the cake to look like wood flooring, the sides are airbrushed and are decorated with red curtains and theatre faces. The top has a hand sculpted figure of Cora in her ballet outfit and a hand sculpted phantom mask and red rose.
