This cake is special; as is the daughter of a dear friend who turned one this past weekend!

We discussed and came up with a ‘whimsical garden’ look for the cake. The apple cake topper was handmade and the design based on the party invites. I quite enjoyed hand painting the cake and the board and even tried my hand at making wired sugar flowers for the first time 😍

Really pleased with the way it came out and even happier with the appreciation it received!
This one will remain my favourite for a while; me thinks!
