My 7yo son requested a flying Spitfire Plane for his cake, then changed it to a crashed spitfire, then he wanted the D-day landing…. So many made him a D-day spitfire plane crashing on the beach with the obstacles/tank traps. So a wing has broken off, and the tip of the wing. The propellers are bent and broken off. The black and white stripes are what signifies D-day. My son (and his father) are so into WWII and Planes of any type, so this is quite fitting for him. He LOVED it, and I loved making it. The fuselage/body of the plane is the cake.
