This was my entry for class B at Cake International and I was absolutely amazed to get a gold.
It is a Red Campion. I grew a plant from seed and have been taking photos all summer since it came up out of the ground. It took around 80 hours, and the leaves were hand cut and I made veiners using silli creations. A fabulous product. The flower was a primrose cutter then cut by hand into shape. I loved making the seed heads best.

Oh my word! So many amazing cakes in the same place at once!
