My piece for the 2015 Sugar Skull Collaboration. Translated as Affectionate Soul, made in celebration of all the loved ones we have lost. The design was inspired by two of my personal favorite colors, red and turquoise and by the desire to challenge myself in to tacking sugar roses. Skull is hand-cut, layered fondant. I hope you enjoy!
