I loved making this cake. The cake itself, one of my favourite flavours, is a 10" Ginger, Date and Lemon cake. Our clients on this were fantastic. Honestly we couldn’t have asked for better. I had orginally made the piano as per the first image I saw on Google. Who knew pianos came in Left Hand and Right Hand versions? You did? Gulp, I didn’t. This is the remade right hand version. Had to close the lid too … annoying as I had painted the inside to look like the inside of a piano. Doh.
