A big happy birthday to Bobby! His wife Karen knew that her husband had an affinity for guitars and this was one of his favorites (Schecter Diamond Series), so she only thought it fitting that he have an edible replica for his 60th birthday! It is the first guitar cake that we have ever made and we thoroughly enjoyed the challenge!

The flavor is our decadent chocolate fudge cake with a vanilla bean buttercream. All of the decorations, aside from the strings, are handsculpted out of our homemade fondant and are completely edible. Hope you had a Rockin’ Birthday! :)
