I came all the way back home from my vacation to make that cake for my precious mom. After the celebration off i went again on vacation…. She loved her cake so much! It was worth it to interrupt my vacation for her.

I didn’t have any idea how i would decorate the cake. Just improvised by caking. Since i didn’t have much time for gumpaste flower so i gave a go on wafer paper flower. It was so fun and a great experience to work with wafer paper. Definitely not the last time working with it.

Flower is done. Now i needed a matching cake. Something simple…. Then i came up with the ‘Watercolour’ idea. I just dusted the white covered cake with different edible colour dusts. That’s it! Very easy and simple and give a great effect. Always learning by doing.
