Ruffles, of any kind, always take a long time, but it was so worth the effort. I loved how this wedding cake turned out. The middle tier was airbrushed with pearl. The top tier was pleated and every other pleat was hand painted with pearl, as well as pearls running down the front. Not my usual style, but happy with the outcome.
