This was made as a display cake for a wedding fayre tomorrow. I have wanted to make a chalkboard cake for a while, and for my last birthday my friend Shereen of Shereens Cakes and Bakes made me a beautiful rustic cake. I loved it so much that I decided to use the effect for the rest of this cake as I thought it went beautifully with the chalkboard.
