I wanted to build the cake off set, and decided to have 2 effects for tree stumps so they would stand out more effectively when stacked. I didnt have time to make the leaves and found these in the dollarstore and they looked amazingly realistic, so i wired them and wrapped in florist tape and used them to cascade down the side and made a wreath for the bottom edge. If i had more time i would have loved to make these leaves in sugar to make it 100% edible.
