Peony Birthday Cake

This was my first time creating a rustic effect with buttercream. I think I spent longer trying to perfect the ‘not so perfect’ look than I do covering cakes in sugarpaste! Loved how you can keep on going until you get the right look though! Thanks for looking <3

pretty and clean! I love this look. You are right, it makes sense to perfect the no so perfect rustic look to make it look professional and not amateurish lol. I would spend hours to do the same as you:-) Great job!
