Kainady, a place that best describes the beautiful backwaters of Kuttanad @ #GodsOwnCountry is abundant with opaline waters, a trillion shades of green bedecking the thick flora and shiny happy people all around.

My uncle, Titto Kainady gave me free reins to make a commemorative cake for his daughter – Liya’s engagement to Joppan – who also has his roots in Kuttanad.

The ruffles at the bottom tier pays tribute to the rippling backwaters and the ten inch high top tier is hand painted in stain glass effect. White lotus was the decorative theme of the venue.
