The couple were marrying at Arley Hall, Cheshire, UK and wanted a modern cake with some traditional details and a nod towards the groom’s Scottish roots. I therefore recreated their stationery design on the front of the cake, and incorporated warm caramel/cream roses and thistles in a spiraling cascade to fit with the dark wood decor in the room.
