21st Birthday cake for Sam.
This cake should have been easy, but ended up to be quite a challenge.
The plan was to use RKT for the head but the weather was warmer than usual and I couldn’t get the rice treats to firm up enough to take the weight of Sonic’s spikes so ended up using a polystyrene ball for his head instead.
Actually, the overall head looked much better the 2nd time I made it, so lesson learned, next time I’ll go straight for the polystyrene ball… (the treats were delicious though!!!..cooks privilege…!!)
