Fawkes was my main piece for the recent Birthday Mischief Managed collaboration. He now sits on a table in front of my cake room window so I have to lean across him in the morning to open the blind and every morning we end up nose to beak…..one morning I’m going to kiss him because he looks like he’s trying to hug me and he has a special place in my heart 💖 I’m also a little bit crazy ;)

I used a gravity defying cake structure and internal supports. Fawkes is decorated with Orange and Red coloured Cake Craft fondant and gumpaste and hundreds of hand cut and hand painted wafer paper feather’s.

I used many images as inspiration for Fawkes including JK Rowling’s oringinal pencil sketch and movie and book images.
